Today we are waving goodbye to Gina. She has been sold and will continue her career at the stables de steenenkamer. We bought Gina in 2017 and she gave us the first homebred foal Nescio van Amstel in 2018. She gave birth to a total of 5 sons, most of which are still in our possession. Gina had a very nice time with us, a lot in the pasture with her foals and in the year she was gust(2021), and in between the gestation period, she was ridden by Sarah Scholten. We also owe Sarah a lot of thanks for the attention and love she , together with her mother, gave to Gina.

We ourselves no longer felt it was responsible to use her any further for breeding, as the last delivery had gone (eventually well but) badly.

She came to the attention of Sacha Albers, who was looking for good horses for the new owner - investor, who took over the riding school de Steenenkamer and is making improvements there. Welfare comes first there, with good medical supervision and with our trusted farrier Philip de Weijer, who shoes the horses there. We have a good feeling about this and we hope that Gina will enjoy the riding school lessons and will make a lot of girls and boys and other horse lovers enthusiastic about riding.
