Macadam's pedigree looks very good with Jaguarmail as sire, who has been in the top rankings for years in a row as sire of best performing Eventing horses. Jaguarmail has been in the top 5 of the WBFSH ranking for years.
That was a reason to buy him at the foal auction in 2017. After the rearing period in Brabant, Willem Broekman presented Macadam at the KWPN stallion approval , and then made saddle broken . After another grazing season, he ( under his sport name Jack) was released at young jumping horse competitions. In addition to eventing, Jack's talents were also in dressage, and eventually Uphill stables prepared Macadam for Z1/2 exercises, making a sale abroad possible.
He was sold to America in May 2023.
