Fee was born in Amsterdam at the Vondelpark. A special birthplace for a KWPN foal. Fee's breeder is a stable owner of De Hollandse manege, who himself competes with his own horses at a high level in the eventing sport. Fee was bred out of one of his own mares. Maaike (studying and living in Amsterdam at the time) bought Fee after she came back from rearing in Amsterdam and found a stable for her in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. Fee is thus the first horse of Amstelhorses, and this also explains our trade name.

Fee is bred out of Nanda, a dam line with the necessary predicates. With in the sire lines Rhodium by Ferro and Ramiro Z an interesting combination has been bred here. combined with Holsteiner blood (Larome/ Landgraf). This makes Fee a complete horse, with all-round bloodline.

Fee is the beginning of the adventure for Amstelhorses. The first horse we own and a learning horse for us in every field. From saddle broken , grooming, transport, training, to the sport, dressage, jumping and eventing. We are now 12 years on the road with our own stuff and many foals, horses, knowledge and skills richer.

Next year, Fee is expecting her fourth foal.
